Outfits: Alice in Wonderland

I was shifting through a blog, The City Sage, when I ran along this post and it got me to thinking.  Tea parties are fun and cute but what do you wear to one?  I made up a couple of outfits with Polyvore (see? I told you I would become a bit obsessed) and want to share them with you guys! 

I made the first to look like a refurbished Alice in Wonderland outfit and the second one is something that I would fight to wear.  What do you guys think?

Outfits: Whimsical

When I found this photo it reminded me of the recent space shuttle launch from NASA.  And I started thinking about fashion.  Maybe not futuristic but space-like and very reminiscent of a sweet, dreamy, stargazer.

Art: Andre Kohn

One of my favorite artists is Andre Kohn whose style is figurative impressionism.  His paintings evoke this calm chaos from within.  They make me want to go imitate his paintings with a walk in the park or a day spent reading old novels by the windows, hoping that maybe my day will turn into something as beautiful as the thick brush strokes on the canvas have made.  Here are some of my favorites so you know what I'm talking about.
